Is it possible to have the genuine gifts, manifestations, authority of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the anointing, and yet follow the path of the world?  Indeed, is it possible to follow the wiles and ways of the Gnostics, whose filth is repeated daily and daily by those who claim to be Christians?  Is it possible for a foul vessel to manifest the authority and power of God and be used by God with this authority and power?  Can a person go to the depths of sin, especially perverted sin, and obtain and be a vessel of the anointing.  For God sake, no!  Manifestations, gifts, miracles, healings, authority and power must be accompanied by a moral life, a holy vessel, if they are of God.  Paul even went this far: (From the 1550 edition of the Greek New Testament by Stephanus.)  Notice how the King James Version has it, “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. (1 Cor. 5:11 KJV).  I like the last part translated like this, “do not eat with such a person as this.”
