The Holy Spirit’s prayer for miracles
Putting on the armour, wielding the sword, and withstanding the enemy is all with a grand objective in view, that we may ‘Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication’ (Ephesians 6:18). This is what it means to hold up the rod in the mount of God. This is what it means to exercise the authority of the throne. Prayer in the Spirit means that the Holy Spirit is motivating, inspiring and energizing the prayer. Instead of self-centered praying we have God-centered praying. We begin to receive the Spirit’s burdens and objectives. And this is to be ‘at all times’ – not just occasionally When Israel eventually entered into the conflict of Canaan, they moved in as a body under Joshua. There was a generation that missed it and a generation that experienced it. I believe the greatest victories in the history of the church are still future.
In such case, the Holy Spirit prays as an intercessor to the Father through the Son for manifestations of miracles.
