“Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and purifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment” (Isa. 1:4-6 KJV).
Like Isaiah, deliver me from a people laden down with iniquity, those who are seeds of evildoers, children who are corrupters, those who rebel more and more and their whole head is sick, and their whole heart is faint. O Lord Jesus, I have seen what should not be seen and heard what should not be heard. I have seen and heard abominations and abominations and blasphemies and blasphemies done by Your people upon Your name. O Lord, truly the wicked are far away from Your church, and yet they are also close within Your church. The wicked within the church do the vices of the nations with no shame and are like the ancient Gnostics who had no shame. For what I have seen this year doubles and even triples the agony and august that I have had all the time of my ministry. Truly, it is almost impossible to have a holiness church, or a church of holiness. Where are the real Christians at, those who will refuse to accept the vices of the nations? Oh! God, I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips (Isaiah 6:5-6), where even their lips cannot lift up praises to you because they have been contaminated by the filth of the Egyptians and the Canaanites. Oh God, help me and ministers like me!
This could very well be part of a future literary work.
Just as Isaiah walked among all mentioned above so did others. Jesus, the apostles, Paul, The early Church Fathers, also Missionaries, Ministers, Evangelists and the laity of our day all walk among the filth of this world. We all live in this fallen, sickened, sin filled world. It would appear we are at a time in which Paul wrote to Timothy about, where strong doctrine is not endured. (2 Tim 4:3)
As far as where are the True Christians? I consider myself “Christian” I do not believe I will arrive at the state of “True Christian” until I graduate into to Glory. We live in a world where: …evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (2 Tim 3:13).
I attend an Amazing Church. Where without the teaching there or the Power and Presence of God, I would still be in darkness. The minister over this church is a man being used greatly by God. I do not believe there are men of God, but only Men who have availed themselves to be used greatly by God. This availing only comes to those who will dedicate their lives fully to the Lord in all and every area. Not an easy walk.
I have learned through the teaching at this church: True Biblical Doctrine; How to approach The Holy God; What the Presence of God is and what is needed individually to enter into His presence; How to fast and pray and reach God through Jesus Christ; The importance of study of scripture and other written works. The list of the many things I have learned there is long and will continue.
True Holiness in any given church will never reach true holiness due to the state of man’s heart. Until an individual submits fully to Jesus Christ this fullness will never be for there will always be Sin, the Flesh and the Devil. One can walk into any give Church and look and see by the manner of attire of the congregants and what is most important to them by the topics of conversation. The type of music and the lighting and other forms of secular entertainment along with the sermon which is nothing more than a watered down Gospel or the motivational speeches given to hype up the crowd as if that will help them attain Holiness or heaven. One may ascertain that Jesus and His Holiness and living a Godly Life is not for most in thought and action in person in attendance and said churches.
The Pastor at the church I attend Prays and lay his hands on the ones he prays for as scripture states. I can see where he would see certain things in persons. I was taught at this church I attend not to allow anyone to lay hands on me or to lay my hand on others. In the few times I did pray and lay hand on someone; I saw and felt their heart. The bitterness, unforgiveness, loathing and other things, I also felt physical pain in my body and then knew what to pray for. This was shocking to me, so I cannot imagine what The Pastor goes through when praying for so many.
A wise minister recently told me in essence, that there comes a time when you must put “all” down and rest for a season. Smart Man.
Deliverance will come from all manner of evil when we die and make it to heaven or if we are raptured.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Gal 6:9)
The Church in which I attend is True Light Ministries, where many lives have been touched and changed.
