Debkafile’s military sources report a decision by the Obama administration to boost US military strength in the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf regions in the short term with an extra air and naval strike forces and 6,000 Marine and sea combatants. Carrier Strike Group 10, headed by the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, sails out of the US Navy base at Norfolk, Virginia Friday, May 21. On arrival, it will raise the number of US carriers off Iranian shores to two.

Up until now, President Barack Obama kept just one aircraft carrier stationed off the coast of Iran, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Arabian Sea, in pursuit of his policy of diplomatic engagement with Tehran.

For the first time, too, the US force opposite Iran will be joined by a German warship, the frigate FGS Hessen, operating under American command.

It is also the first time that Obama, since taking office 14 months ago, is sending military reinforcements to the Persian Gulf. Our military sources have learned that the USS Truman is just the first element of the new buildup of US resources around Iran. It will take place over the next three months, reaching peak level in late July and early August. By then, the Pentagon plans to have at least 4 or 5 US aircraft carriers visible from Iranian shores.

The USS Truman’s accompanying Strike Group includes Carrier Air Wing Three (Battle Axe) – which has 7 squadrons – 4 of F/A-18 Super Hornet and F/A-18 Hornet bomber jets, as well as spy planes and early warning E-2 Hawkeyes that can operate in all weather conditions; the Electronic Attack Squadron 130 for disrupting enemy radar systems; and Squadron 7 of helicopters for anti-submarine combat (In its big naval exercise last week, Iran exhibited the Velayat 89 long-range missile for striking US aircraft carriers and Israel warships from Iranian submarines.)

Another four US warships will be making their way to the region to join the USS Truman and its Strike Group. They are the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy and guided missile destroyers USS Winston S. Churchill, USS Oscar Austin and USS Ross.

Debkafile’s military sources disclose that the 6,000 Marines and sailors aboard the Truman Strike Group come from four months of extensive and thorough training to prepare them for anticipated missions in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean.

Article by MAYA SPITZER from here, 12th March 2009

“The Islamic states circulated a new resolution at the current session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on Wednesday that would criminalize defamation of Islam as a human rights violation and encourage the imposition of Shari’a.

According to the nonbinding governmental resolution, titled “Combating Defamation of Religions,” anything deemed insulting to Islamic sensitivities would be banned as a “serious affront to human dignity” and a blatant violation of religious freedom.

The resolution would attempt to influence “local, national, regional and international levels” to incorporate such guarantees of this perceived freedom in their “legal and constitutional systems.”

“It is a covert package coordinated by Pakistan against the West,” said Leon Saltiel, director of communications at the Geneva-based human rights group UN Watch, on Thursday. “They think there is too much liberty and freedom of expression in world, which therefore defames religion.”

This resolution is part of the ongoing campaign of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a powerful bloc of 56 states at the UN, which began to introduce annual resolutions in 1999 to ban the “defamation of Islam.”

Hillel Neuer, executive director of UN Watch, said during an address to Radio Free Europe in December that “Islamic states pursued the diplomatic battle with a vengeance” because of the post-9/11 war on terror and the controversy ignited by the cartoon of their prophet published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in September 2005.

“The resolutions pose a major threat to the premises and principles of international human rights law and harm Muslims as much as non-Muslims. International law already protects victims of religious discrimination,” for instance via the 1984 Declaration of Human Rights and the 1966 International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights, declared Neuer.

The resolutions fail to address human rights violations of Muslim countries, notably Iran’s persecution of Baha’is, Saudi Arabia’s banning of all religious practice aside from Islam, and the persecution of Christian communities in Egypt, Pakistan and Iraq.

The latest resolution is “not really trying to protect individuals from harm,” but rather attempting “to shield a set of beliefs from question or debate and to ban any discussion of Islam that may challenge state orthodoxies or offend Islamic sensibilities,” Neuer said.

Wednesday’s resolution would immediately target moderate Muslims from the countries sponsoring the resolution with “state-sanctioned blasphemy laws,” UN Watch said in a statement. It would also target the Western media, which the resolution accuses of “deliberate stereotyping of religions, their adherents and sacred persons.”

Although similar resolutions have been passed for the past couple of years, this resolution is of particular importance because “the ideas of the resolution will be incorporated into Durban texts,” said Saltiel, referring to the UN Durban Review Conference on Racism to be held in Geneva next month.

“If the resolution is passed enough times, it becomes an international legal norm,” Saltiel said.

“Tragically, given that Islamic states completely dominate the Human Rights Council, with the support of non-democratic members like Russia, China and Cuba, adoption of the regressive resolution is a foregone conclusion,” UN Watch said.

The “Combating Defamation of Religions” resolution will be voted on March 26-27, giving organizations in Geneva such as UN Watch two weeks to mobilize international opposition to it, Saltiel said.

In December, Neuer declared that “the most dire threat is coming from Geneva, where an Algerian-chaired subcommittee of the UN’s upcoming Durban II racism conference has this week been seeking to amend international human rights treaty law to ban ‘defamation of religion,’ especially Islam.

“Eleanor Roosevelt, whose universal declaration we celebrate this month on its 60th anniversary, must be turning in her grave,” he said.

Since December, Algeria has drafted an international protocol on that theme, due to be brought before the UN General Assembly in September.”

By Edmund Conway, 16 Mar 2009, from The Telegraph

“The International Monetary Fund is poised to embark on what analysts have described as “global quantitative easing” by printing billions of dollars worth of a global “super-currency” in an unprecedented new effort to address the economic crisis.

Alistair Darling and senior figures in the US Treasury have been encouraging the Fund to issue hundreds of billions of dollars worth of so-called Special Drawing Rights in the coming months as part of its campaign to prevent the recession from turning into a global depression.

Should the move, which is up for discussion by the summit of G20 finance ministers this weekend, be adopted, it will represent a global equivalent of the Bank of England’s plan to pump extra cash into the UK economy.

However, economists warned that the scheme could cause a major swell of inflation around the world as the newly-created money filters through the system. The idea has been suggested by a number of key figures, including billionaire investor George Soros and US Treasury adviser Ted Truman.

Simon Johnson, former chief economist at the IMF, said: “The principle behind it is that everyone would get bonus dollars and instead of the Federal Reserve having to print them, everyone gets them.

“The objective is to create a windfall of cash. However if everybody goes out and spends the money it could be very inflationary.”

An interesting news article from here, dated 13 Mar 2009 -

“A study conducted by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has cast doubt over Israel’s survival beyond the next 20 years.

The CIA report predicts “an inexorable movement away from a two-state to a one-state solution, as the most viable model based on democratic principles of full equality that sheds the looming specter of colonial Apartheid while allowing for the return of the 1947/1948 and 1967 refugees. The latter being the precondition for sustainable peace in the region.”

The study, which has been made available only to a certain number of individuals, further forecasts the return of all Palestinian refugees to the occupied territories, and the exodus of two million Israeli – who would move to the US in the next fifteen years.

“There is over 500,000 Israelis with American passports and more than 300,000 living in the area of just California,” International lawyer Franklin Lamb said in an interview with Press TV on Friday, adding that those who do not have American or western passport, have already applied for them.

“So I think the handwriting at least among the public in Israel is on the wall…[which] suggests history will reject the colonial enterprise sooner or later,” Lamb stressed.

He said CIA, in its report, alludes to the unexpectedly quick fall of the apartheid government in South Africa and recalls the disintegration of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, suggesting the end to the dream of an ‘Israeli land’ would happen ‘way sooner’ than later.

The study further predicts the return of over one and a half million Israelis to Russia and other parts of Europe, and denotes a decline in Israeli births whereas a rise in the Palestinian population.

Lamb said given the Israeli conduct toward the Palestinians and the Gaza strip in particular, the American public — which has been voicing its protest against Tel Aviv’s measures in the last 25 years — may ‘not take it anymore’.

Some members of the US Senate Intelligence Committee have been informed of the report.

At approx 2.49 minutes on this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GThfWVCfjVo, Henry Kissinger is heard talking about Obama and the New World Order.

Henry Kissinger says:

“The president-elect is coming into office at a moment when there is upheaval in many parts of the world simultaneously… … “You have India, Pakistan; you have the jihadist movement. So he can’t really say there is one problem, that it’s the most important one. But he can give new impetus to American foreign policy partly because the reception of him is so extraordinary around the world. His task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created. It’s a great opportunity, it isn’t just a crisis.”

Drew Zahn, reports here -

“… According to Henry Kissinger, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former secretary of state under President Nixon, conflicts across the globe and an international respect for Barack Obama have created the perfect setting for establishment of “a New World Order.”

{In 1989 President Bush said  …]

“A new partnership of nations has begun, and we stand today at a unique and extraordinary moment,” said Bush before a joint session of Congress. “Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective – a new world order – can emerge: A new era … in which the nations of the world, east and west, north and south, can prosper and live in harmony.”

“There is a need for a new world order,” Kissinger told PBS interviewer Charlie Rose last year, “I think that at the end of this administration, with all its turmoil, and at the beginning of the next, we might actually witness the creation of a new order – because people looking in the abyss, even in the Islamic world, have to conclude that at some point, ordered expectations must return under a different system.”

Kissinger is also part of the Bilderberg Group which allegedly emphasize a globalist agenda and promote the idea that the notion of national sovereignty is antiquated and regressive.

“There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international . . . network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments. I have objected, both in the past and recently, to a few of its policies . . . but in general my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known.” Professor Carroll Quigley, in his book Tragedy and Hope, 1966.

“Out of these troubled times, a New World Order can emerge under a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders.”  President George Bush, September 11, 1990 State of the Union “It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance.”  President George Herbert Walker Bush Addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations, February 1, 1992

“When the struggle seems to be drifting defiantly towards a world social democracy there may still be very great delays and disappointments before it becomes an efficient and beneficent world system.  Countless people – will hate the New World Order – and will die protesting against it.  When we attempt to evaluate its promise, we have to bear in mind the distress of a generation or so of malcontents, many of them quite gallant and graceful-looking people.”
H.G. Wells, in his book entitled, “The New World Order” (1939)

“We are not going to achieve a New World Order without paying for it in blood as well as in words and money.”
Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., in “Foreign Affairs,” July/August Issue 1995

“Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government.”
Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

“In short, the ‘house of world order’ will have to be built from the bottom up, rather than from the top down.  It will look like a great ‘booming, buzzing confusion’ to use William James’ famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.”
Richard N. Gardner in “Foreign Affairs,” April 1974

“No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.”
David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

“A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.”
Ted Turner, in an interview with Audubon magazine.

“In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation.”
Prince Philip Reported by Deutsche Press Agentur (DPA), August, 1988.
“I must confess that I am tempted to ask for reincarnation as a particularly deadly virus.”
Prince Philip, in his Foreword to If I Were an Animal; United Kingdom, Robin Clark Ltd., 1986.
“We are on the verge of a global transformation.  All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”

David Rockefeller
“But this present window of opportunity, during which a truly peaceful an interdependent world order might be built, will not be open for long.  Already there are powerful forces at work that threaten to destroy all our hopes and efforts to erect an enduring structure of global interdependence.”
David Rockefeller Speaking at the Business Council for the United Nations, September 14, 1994

“In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.” Strobe Talbot, President Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, l992.

“We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest
or consent.” Statement by Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member James Warburg to The Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17th, l950

“Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed”
Sarah Brady, Chairman of Handgun Control to Senator Howard Metzanbaum, “The National Educator,” January 1994 Page 3

“When we got organized as a country, and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans…and so a lot of people say there’s too much personal freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it. That’s what we did in the announcement I made last weekend on the public housing projects, about how we’re going to have weapon sweeps and more things like that to try to make people safer in their communities.”
President Bill Clinton, 3-22-94, MTV’s “Enough is Enough”

“We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans.”
President Bill Clinton, “USA Today,” March 11, 1993, Page 2A

“Whatever the price of the Chinese Revolution, it has obviously succeeded not only in producing more efficient and dedicated administration, but also in fostering high morale and community of purpose. The SOCIAL EXPERIMENT in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history.” David Rockefeller Statement in 1973 about Mao Tse-Tung, New York Times, August 10, 1973
“The truth of the matter is that you do have those standby provisions, and the statutory emergency plans are there whereby you could, in the name of stopping terrorism, apprehend, invoke the military, and arrest Americans and hold them in detention camps.”
– U.S. Representative Henry Gonzalez, August 29, 1994

“We are moving toward a new world order, the world of communism. We shall never turn off that road.”
Mikhail Gorbachev 1987

“Under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not the character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner. . . .” [This is compassionate liberalism.]
Fabian Socialist Bernard Shaw in his Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928.

“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.”
– Julius Caesar

“National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing a new world order.”
Adolph Hitler during World War II

“The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the State.”
– Dr. Joseph M. Goebbels in His Diary

The true church of Jesus Christ has suffered more assaults more attacks, more heartrending confusion, splits, and compromises than one can comprehend. Yet, the church is still the church and His people are still rejoicing. The true church cannot fail because the question is settled and God’s people have made their choice. Jesus Himself settled this question when He said, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). The visible church has miserably failed but the invisible church is still triumphant and waiting for her greatest triumph of the ages. The Rapture is our crowning moment, the greatest triumph of His saints.

We must never forget that we enter into His coming glory by great tribulation. The First Testament saints were champions of suffering and privation. Let Apostle Paul tell you of their trials, “And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth” (Hebrews 11:32-38). “Of whom the world was not worthy” sets these saints of old apart like sparkling jewels and that is exactly what the Prophet Malachi called them. “And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him” (Malachi 3:17).

The New Testament saints have never been treated any different than the First Testament saints. The only difference is in the people we call saints“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (II Timothy 3:12). Apostle Paul described the saints of the early church, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you” (II Corinthians 4:8-12).It is our joy to suffer for His name. We are His jewels and all our troubles — when rightly suffered — are nothing but His preparation for our coming glory. The Apostle Paul cried forth with the desire to share “the fellowship of His sufferings” (Philippians 3:10). Jesus said, “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets” (St. Luke 6:22-23). Let’s rejoice in the bitter trials that come across our path and use them to step up higher. The Rapture is the triumph of every Biblical virtue.

The Rapture: Triumph of Grace

First of all, the Rapture is the triumph of grace. The grace of God is our one and only approach to everything that redemption has provided. We dare not claim one promise by merits of flesh and blood. No man can earn the salvation of God and no flesh – even at its best — can enter into His presence unless it is hid in the regalia of blood redemption. Man is wholly incapable of saving himself. In His need of God every experience of man must proclaim, “But God.” And every man in his darkest condition of sin has but to declare, “But God.” Grace is the absolute “but God” in all of human needs. Holy Revelation has declared, “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:4-10). This is the final word to every idea of man that would dare exclude one living soul from the possibility of grace. Grace cannot be grace if one person is left at God’s altar without hope. If a pleading soul that casts all trust upon Him is turned away, grace has been corrupted.

We are saved from the dark seven years of the judgment of the Antichrist, the false prophet, and the false god, Lucifer, by grace. No man can claim grace that places God’s chosen saints in the middle of the Great Tribulation. There is no grace in judging the blood-washed saints with the blood thirsty hordes of demon spirits and blaspheming Christ rejecters. There is no grace in allowing the devil to devour the Holy Saints of the church with the godless throng of heathens. The overcomers of the world and sin will be removed by grace because grace has promised, “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:10). The Great Tribulation is God’s final word to a world that has allowed Satan to become its god. It is impossible for grace to be grace and then leave the righteous, who have already by grace escaped sins’ consequences, to be left under its destructive powers. The Rapture is the triumph of grace for every soul that has trusted only in its merits. We were saved by grace, sanctified by grace, preserved by grace, added to His church by grace, and will finally be “caught up” by grace. The thrones beneath His rainbow framed throne will all be the same height and reflect the same glory. Our rewards will be different but all will be present because of grace.

Joseph R. Chambers
